Under our extra-curricular programs, we lay a lot of stress on the provision of state-of-the-art sports facilities. We offer our students the choice to play any one sport from lawn tennis, cricket, basketball, table tennis, football, swimming, chess and karate under the specialized supervision of a trained instructor. Once they clock in a particular number of training hours, we assess their future potential and further refer them to all major competitions and tournaments across local, regional, national and international levels.
We have created a diverse suite of clubs for our students, based on their age range and interests. Such clubs are aimed at improving public speaking, elocution, diction, expression, health, knowledge, soft skills, teamwork etc. through a series of well-thought and well-planned activities, and moulding students into their best avatars. Presently, our students can participate in the following clubs – Robotics, Literary, Heritage, Ecology, Health & Wellness, Quiz, Science, Dramatics and Creative & Performing arts.
Our Performing Arts Program (PAP) has been specially developed as a part of our co-curricular activities to help students value art and artistic creations and use them as a means to express themselves. Under this program, our learners study art, music, drama and dance, and learn to plan, develop and present themselves in ways that reflect their creativity. Students are also encouraged to try new combinations of tools, resources, techniques and approaches throughout their study.
We teach various dance forms – Indian Classical Styles like Kathak, Western Styles like Salsa, Hip Hop, Jazz, Bollyfunk etc. – to all students from Pre-Primary to Senior Secondary. They practice these dance forms during their club periods and/or as scheduled. We also encourage our students to participate in cultural activities and for the competitions and concerts held at School, Inter School and City levels.
We teach and train our students in both Western Music as well as Indian Music Styles. They are taught to play Drums, Guitar, Synthesizer, Tabla, Congo and many more musical instruments. As mentioned above, students practice these music forms during their club periods and/or as scheduled. We also encourage our students to participate in cultural activities and for the competitions and concerts held at School, Inter School and City levels.
We organise various visual art activities like tempra painting, modern art, ceramic-pot decoration, mini sculptures, puppet making, oil painting, paper craft etc. Trainings in these disciplines enable our students to make connections between the imaginative life and the world and to organise and express themselves in a visual, tangible form. During drawing, painting, constructing and inventing, students respond to visual stimuli, assimilate their thoughts and ideas, and communicate them in their own creative manner.
